audiobike

i was wondering if anyone else likes to listen to books on tape when they ride. i got about an hour each way, and sometimes listen while i'm at work when i got a lot of repetitive mindless tasks to do (i work in a lab). i'm just about through most of the good stuff in my library's collection and so was wondering if anyone knew of other good (free) sources or had any recommendations. i looked online and apparently it costs 15-20$ to rent audiobooks, and the local library won't get audiobooks through inter-library loans.

i'd rather not have a discussion about the safety or legality of listening to something while riding. just curious mostly to see if anyone else out there does it or not and what their thoughts and suggestions are.

also was curious if anyone has a radio/speakers on their bike and how that works out for you.
