Ride up. Slow and steady and quiet. You will see a lot more. Stop for rests and enjoy the scenery. It sounds like a fabulous climb.
A jeep ride up will be noisy and bumpy and possibly dangerous, depending on who is driving.
And yes, the ride up will make the downhill even sweeter.
