I contacted Cherry Capital Cycling Club last year prior to going up near Traverse. I got a really nice map along with routes for a few bucks. The guy also sent me a few phone numbers in case I was looking for a ride partner. Not sure where you are looking to ride in relation to Traverse, but I didnt find many spots up that way I didnt want to ride. The whole area is awesome for bikes. I did the Old Mission ride and it was really nice.
I do that at least once every summer! We start at the south end by Traverse City high School, then go north on the east side of the OMP, all the way up to the lighthouse, then south along the west side, back to the high school.
