installing rivets
I am working on some leather bags and want to use some rivets to attach some leather straps. I will be using copper rivets. How much of the rivet shank should stick up past the washer on the opposite side of the rivet head? I experimented on some remnant pieces today and didn't like the results. So any riveting experts out there or at least someone that has some experience with this stuff.
