Meh. I hear the same thing from people who want to support the local LBS but always end up doing their big purchases via the web. It's nice to talk the talk but walk the walk, too. I know there are some that truly want to support local and Made-in-your-home-country but that is a minority.

That being said, I happen to own an honest to goodness Made in the USA bike and 2 from Taiwan.
