I passed an extremely tall rider a few days ago on the Sammamish River Trail (we were going in opposite directions). At first, I thought the guy was riding a tall bike. As we got closer, I realized he was riding a normal road bike, just scaled-up in size.
The bike's head tube was probably the length of my bike's seat tube.
It's difficult to estimate a person's height while they're riding, but I'd guess this guy was at least 7 feet tall (I'm about 6'3").
I saw a bike like that once, but it was being ridden by a sub-six foot teenager. I have to admit, he looked pretty cool on it: Sort of looked like a 3-year-old on one of our bikes. Wish I had a camera. It gave me a good laugh. Thought I was having a flashback.....
