Huh, good to know. I wondered if it would be possible to make those holes bigger without ruining the wheels. I may have to think on that. I can't find heavy duty tubes for that bike. We are coming up on thorn season again and I'd like to be able to use some better tubes.
The LHT came with 26" Alex Adventurer wheels, which can be ordered for either Presta or Schrader valves. I figured enlarging the holes under those conditions couldn't hurt all that much. But it probably would have been safer to check with the wheel manufacturer first.
