I went mountain unicycling with my brother on Sunday. We started at the Tennessee Valley trailhead in Marin and did a loop that ended up being just under 11 miles with about 1600 feet of climbing. Here's the route:

We went up to the old radar installation on top of Hill 88 which involved carrying unicycles up some stairs. The ride down the other side of the hill was a blast with the trail involving several small sections of boardwalk.

While taking a short break near Rodeo Lagoon we started talking to a woman who teaches elementary school kids how to ride unicycles. How awesome would it be to be a unicycle instructor? She was trying to get her class officially integrated into the PE department (supposedly schools in the Seattle area already do this). Anyway, being on one wheel always garners lots of attention but it was cool to talk to someone who was a fellow unicyclist.

Gotta love the fisheye lens

Surprisingly, bikes *are* allowed here

I stopped after the sign. This is a good place to sit and take a breather.

I also put together a video which is here: http://vimeo.com/4052104
