I can't speak of experience outside of the USA, however, I will tell you that there seems to be a communication problem between DahonUSA and its dealers. Dealers place the part orders, but aren't getting the parts they request in a prompt manner. It's not the dealers fault, I'd place it squarely on the personnel at DahonUSA who claim to have the parts in stock.
Dahons are great bicycles and I enjoy mine. I hope that this communication problem at DahonUSA stops soon. It is costing them a lot of lost sales and frustrates both dealers and owners.
