I thing Guad brakes have more stopping power, but maybe only in the Road Cycling forum.
I think if an active participant in the Road Cycling forum caught a look at my contraption he/she would just think I was out of my mind.
And then I would tell them it probably weighs well over 50 lbs. and they would have a coronary!
