Well, if you're like me, it'll take a while to get your bike. I did a lot of reading up on them and went to just about every bike store around and rode evey model I could. I really wanted to buy from DownTube in Albany - those guys are the greatest and most helpfull. It was late in the year, and I wanted to try out the Pilot model, but they didn't have any, and couldn't get any more from Trek. I found mine at a store up in Queensbury (same road their mall is on - I forget the name)... they had the Pilot - I tried it... really liked it... and they knocked several hundred off the price, so I bought it. My model yr has Ultegra front and rear deraillieurs - I noticed Trek downgraded the front in the next model yr. Watch the guys at the Queensbury store though - the tall, older, slender salesguy could sell ice to an eskimo :-) Luckily, I got out of there with just the bike and the Topeak bag.
