How about your team, and your friend's team make a concerted effort to mark every move the kid makes for the next few races. Cover every break he's in and then disrupt it (by not working, etc. not by anything dangerous.) Never let him have a wheel. Takes turns escorting him out the back. Make him work for everything. Teach him that he needs to have a bit better attitude or there are consequences.
