That is interesting. So what would happen if someone buys a bike as a present for a family member and then dies shortly afterwards? Is the person who receives it as a gift then left without any warrantee?
I would have thought it was possible to transfer the warrantee if I pass on all the paperwork and then ask the dealer about transferring the warrantee.

Am I asking too much? If so what is a bike with uncertain warrantee status actually worth?
I can drop the price a bit but there does come a point where it is not worth selling for peanuts and I’d rather just put it into storage....... The MU SL could well be a future classic.
