I have a 2005 Fuji World. It's mostly a commuter/around town bike, but I've done some touring on it. It's a great bike. Very comfortable but not an absolute tank like a lot of pure tourers. But not a road/racing bike by any means - still pretty long, stable, and beefy. I like the 105 brifters and the nontraditional (ergo?) drop handlebars. My girlfriend has a Surly LHT and the World is definitely a "sport" touring bike compared to the LHT.

All in all it's a great transportation + non-expedition touring bike. I'm very happy with it.
