This thread is about how expensive helmets can be. Maybe if that $40 helmet cost $5 the person who didn't want to spend $40 would have bought one. Maybe if you could give them away for free more would wear them, but then again, maybe not. Maybe if they don't it has something more to do with the debate on their use rather than the cost.
