You have probably been riding on it for a while without knowing it. It should not be hard to find someone in most towns to repair it. Just make sure they identify the base metal and use the proper filler metal. As for warranty I would think that if you are in a remote area and have it repaired, having the photos should be plenty of evidence to cover a warranty replacement. I don't think any frame manufacturer would go to the trouble to repair it, they would just give you a new frame. If they don't cover it under warranty, look at the bright side. You can always upgrade to a steel frame

Im almost sure it is a new crack, and it happened during the recent transport. Yes I will start my shopping for a new steel frame.
