Here's a photo of the bike...you can zoom into the seat post pretty well.

If you're committed to the suspension post, you might be in trouble. If not, I would recommend trying a post with a little set-back to see if that helps put you where you want to be. Actually, I'd try one just to see what happens and then make my decisions from there, as it would sort out at least one variable.
