Hello From NYC

I used to ride BMX bike a lot in my younger years but I honestly haven't been on one in about 10 years. I recently bought a new bike to ride to and from work and start some leisurely riding during my time off. I am partly doing it to stay in shape. It's really not like I need to get in shape. But work is only 4 miles for me. So spending that 8 miles on a bike everyday can only help. I bought a nice Hybrid road bike, a 2001 Specialized Sirrus Expert. I was told that this is a pretty good starter bike.

So far so good. It is a learning process for me and I am doing good. There is a lot to learn about bikes like this. I was used to bmx bikes with their simplicity; my favorite one was an old Dyno that didn't even have hand brakes. Now there are a million little things to pay attention to and to learn how to do. But like I said before, so far so good.
