a cyclist sharing a road with 50mph traffic while a driver fiddles with a cellphone? i see an accident waiting to happen regardless of road striping. but in order to facilitate cycling on 50 mph cooridors for others not so brazen as chips, cyclist ride share and safety would be improved with a quality bikelane in these situations.
