It was raining, so we were wearing jackets donated by the Teamsters Union. These rain jackets had a big emblem on the back. Finally, at the train station, we were greeted by about 100 fellow Teamsters attending a convention from all across America, they were just saying hi, not posing a threat at all! You never know.
Maybe not both of them; but I'm pretty sure the one displaying the one finger salute was not just saying hi.
