So I have been talking to my buddies about my new desire to get my weight under control and I now have 3 new riding buddies! One is 6' about 300 and has a year old Kona with about 5 miles on it. The other went the next day to the LBS in Fairbanks and bought a Rockhopper and my other buddy, 6'2" 300LBS is getting a Specialized 29er on wed. The point is all these guys wanted was a fire lit under them! We are already planning on a rough start but with decent equipment and a good support group, we went from joking about eating to mask our sadness to taking control! I am so excited and I am truly proud of my friends
