Speaking for myself, I would rather ride a properly set up 3sp. I've recently switched out the 18T cog on the SA, for a 22T. Makes climbing the few local hills quite abit easier. I spend most of my time in 2nd or 3rd anyway, but that 22T assisted 1st gear is sweet when needed!
