Another less orthodox frame mount location is under the down tube. That is where I mounted my road morph before changing to a Specialized bottle cage mount, basically moving my pump from the underside of the down tube to the side of the downtube. I find top tube mounts get in the way when you want to just grab the top tube when mounting the bike on a car rack and such. I never had a problem with the down tube, just mount the clamps under the deraileur cables so they don't bind.
