Yeah they're aluminum.
Kind of a nice cushy ride with 700 x 35c tires. Nice wheelbase.
I haven't seen any nashbar steel frames on ebay.

-Edit- Just looked on ebay and they had a full Nashbar steel touring bike for $249
Unfortunately it was a 67 cm monster.
