Hello from Charlottesville, VA
Greetings from Charlottesville, VA. After slacking off on my mountain biking the last few years, I'm determined to get back into the swing of things. I'm considering the Iceman Cometh race in Michigan in November as a goal to keep me motivated; a friend moved there about two years ago and we keep talking about it. I might also want to look into local/regional events.
I've biked alot of the southwest (AZ, UT, NM, CA), some of the midwest (IL, WI) and of course here in Virginia. Anyone in my local area that can point out new mountain bike trails outside of the standard Walnut Creek Park/Observatory Hill/Panorama Farms local rides, your input is welcome. It would be nice to change things up a bit.
