Melon Patch Tour
Dubbed the "Best Fed Ride in Texas", it is slotted for Aug 8 in De Leon, Texas. I am considering driving up there for the ride but would like to hear from other who may have ridden it before and get their impression of it. Is it worth a 450 mile round trip drive with an overnight hotel stay in Stephenville? How are the road conditions and the course itself? The website raves about the rest stops, so are they really that great? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
