Problem installing Ergopower cable!
I'm setting up my 2009 campy centuar shifter and the instructions aren't making sense compared to the parts in front of me. The instructions say to attach the end of the derailleur cable with the pre-fitted housing end cap into the slot in the shifter. Well the slot in my shifter has a yellow plastic insert in it that seems like more of a cable guide, but definitely not thick enough to hold the cable housing. And even if I remove that insert, the cable will now fit but definitely not the metal housing end cap. It looks to me like the cables are supposed to run over/through the plastic insert and into the cables which are supposed to be attached UNDER the shifter.
Does this make sense? I'm totally confused.
