Why haven't they standardized on the cassette or freehub body widths yet for 10 sp.. I have a Bontrager hub and with a Shimano cassette I needed the 1 mm spacer, but did not need it with a SRAM cassette. Seems easy enough for the industry to standardize, since most other components are.
And, Campy 10-speed spacing is different from all of the others.
"They" haven't standardized deraileur geometry, shifter cable pull, bottom bracket dimensions, or any of a dozen other items either. Why should cassette spacing be any different?
