I've just bought something that I had my eyes on since forever.
It's a NOS
Mavic bottom bracket that I will install on my favorite frame (french threaded Gitane from the 80's).
This BB is held in place by two lockrings and it's fully adjustable and can be used with any type of bottom bracket lug.
It's also supposed to be very high quality and to last a lifetime. You can rebuild it easily with two standard bearings.
I'm anxious to see how it will hold up on my bike.
