cactus thorn holes ect will be sealed by stans, so if you expect lots of thorns put a little xtra stans in, that stuff is amazing,

what i was saying about sewing is for larger tears in the sidewall only, and they can't be too close to the bead, but the meathod i said above does work, and can save a $60 tire, as far as feeling secure on your tires, well thats what the overkill is for lol, the velox tubless patch kit even comes with a needle and thread. But if your worried or its too much trouble, then yeah you can just buy a new tire
