I said earlier that Rassmussen was Dutch. Ooops! He's Danish, not dutch! I do realize that the national anthem that was played was also Danish. I meant to write "danish" not "dutch". Oh well. I'm sure Rasmussen fans got a good laugh at their own national anthem being played when Contador's flag was raised. Rasmussen was in the yellow jersey when he got kicked out of the 2007 Tour that Contador later went on to win.
Easy now, Herre Sensitive. Half of America thinks Denmark is the capital of Sweden or something. At least you're above the median!
Though a Danish friend thought it was odd that the Spanish had used the same melody as the Danish for their anthem. Kind of like "My Country 'Tis of Thee" and "God Save the Queen."
