Didn't have an electronic cyclometer at the time, but our old mechanical speedometer was pinned at its 50 mph maximum coming down a hill on our fully loaded tandem. Then we came around a corner and saw the bull standing right in the middle of our lane.
We took the rest of the descent at a more sedate pace.
