My thoughts exactly. I am an EX mountain biker that now has road bikes. If you are not doing serious Offroad then this might be OK. The frame will be fine- but the Components are are a bit low for any rough stuff. It would be good for Trail work and will go up hills if you have the power- but look at the type of riding you may want to do.
