Mtnwalker - Thanks you made me feel better with the "I understand that this was the first time they've ever had to support a 63 mile ride. But I don't think they realized just how long it can take for some riders to finish that kind of ride. A lady at the booth was surprised to hear that some riders were still climbing Kings Mtn at 1 pm." I was done around 2:30 -3pm like you. And when I got to the grounds, I could see tumbleweeds and only the t-shirt booth

Johnny99 - Nope. We didn't really go thru any parks at least that I'm aware of. We just went past the signs to the parks from what I saw but then I'm not familiar with the official boundaries of the parks, either. Yeah. I'd read that some cyclist orgs were boycotting in the past. Not sure bout this year but I'm happy just to support the park system.
