Glad to be here.

Just thought I would introduce myself. I am new to biking and still in the experimental stages of how seriously I am going to get into this. I am 40 years old and trying to get back into some semblance of fitness so I started running this summer. I started biking to supplement the running and I am finding I like the biking better. I have an old Huffy 924 10 speed that I have had since 1994 that I have been using. I would love a new road bike but I need to prove to myself that I will actually use it. I have put in about 60 miles in august so far and should easily go over 100 for the month. I have equipped my huffy with clips, a water bottle, and a cheap cyclo computer - oh yes, and new tires - the old ones had dry rotted. Anyway, I am really enjoying the biking and plan to keep it up slowing ramping up my mileage.
