I have had one on my fixed gear for close to a year now. I have nothing to compare it to, since this is my first fixed-gear bike. However, I do have a lot of experience with bikes as a whole.

This chain is really stiff, laterally and is a bit tough to install. You really need to wrap it in rags and flex it to get the master link to close. Once it is on, it works great.

This is a heavy chain, but it is really cool looking and gets lots of comments on the street. That is the real reason to choose this chain. I don't think there is any performance advantage or disadvantage over regular chains.
