I've lived just off Custer for long enough to watch it go from a two lane road that served farmers to a six lane road that serves the bedroom communities of Allen, Frisco and McKinney, and you certainly made an interesting choice for a cycling route. There's perhaps a greater volume of high speed motor vehicle traffic on that thoroughfare at that time in that direction than any other street in town.
