Sounds to me as if you've made a good start. Congratulations!

The hardest part for me, over the past 15 years of yo-yoing, is finding a routine to fit into my schedule and that I can keep over long periods of time. Short-term is fun, and the first realization of losing weight and feeling fitter is a great boost. For me, I had to adjust my thinking to the long haul, and step back a bit to make sure I could find a routine, including foods and exercise other than cycling, that I can and will keep for years, rather than a few months as I've done so many times in the past.

Wishing you all the best, and hoping you find the right balance for yourself. Keep riding!
