Are you saying your buddy was ridding a bike with a broken fork? Well that was not smart of him in the first place. However that alone shouldn't be a reason to scratch off a brand of recumbent bicycles. That can happen to any brand of bicycles upright or recumbent.
I know someone whose Gold Rush Replica's frame broke during a group ride, and he wanted to continue to ride it. Luckily, there were several of us there present who insisted he not try it. Should that make someone scratch off Easy Racer bikes?
