i can fit mine around my downtube, front wheel(deep v), and parking SIGN, not a meter. its realllly snug but i can make it. I imagine with a standard low box section rim you could fit it around a meter.
i also carry a thick 4 ft cable to get my other wheel.
and btw, it gets to the point with lock thickness where it's probably easier for the thief to cut through the parking sign/meter easier than the lock, and if that's the case and your bike is worth several thousand dollars, don't even bother with a lock and just bring your bike inside everywhere. because this lock is a bitch to carry around
