It could have been worse, after my first accident when I was hit by a car I was off to the ER and off the bike for some time. The stupid driver would have probably ran over the bike if I would have fallen into the curb...
I guess we learn to anticipate what drivers are going to do, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not...
