Tire: Schwalbe Marathon
Size: 26 by 1.5, 700:28, and 20 by 1.5
Price: $55.00 (retail)
Pros: Bulletproof, extremely long life.
Cons: A little slower rolling, especially with the Marathon Plus.

My favourite tire maker has to be Schwalbe and of some 16 bikes, 4 are fitted with Schwalbe Marathons and I could not be more pleased with these and figure they are worth every penny.

You sacrifice a little speed when you get a tire that is so bulletproof but they do roll fairly fast and the wet traction is excellent.

I use them on my long bike which carries massive loads and on both my commuter / tourers, as well as on my folder and will be installing a set on my daughter's 20 inch commuter.

My friend runs Marathons on his trike and is now having to replace the tires after 6000 km... consider that with 20 inch tires they roll 1.5 times as much and have gotten the equivalent of 9000 km if we compare them to a 700c.
