A number of responses appear to be giving annual mileage (which only makes sense if you change components annually whether they need it or not). I was looking for the number of miles you typically get on a chain or tires. Several have specifically indicated Rear tire, which is good - it invariably wears out first, although if you are one who rotates in a new tire on the front when the rear wears out that does complicate it...
