Too muddy, equipment failure.
My first race, and third time on a CX bike and I was heckled into racing the B's. I did really well, IMO. I stuck with a lot of guys, and stayed in the front part of the race the whole time until the mud got the better of my bike.
I can't wait until next week; I think I might be able to score a W this year in a CX race. But first, I need to crack down on my dismounts and remounts.
