UCLA-Santa Monica to the Valley bike commute route?
I've been interested in doing a bike commute all the way from UCLA vicinity up to the Valley, pretty much in a northward route toward Santa Clarita as well as Sylmar.
Can anyone recommend a route through over the mountains into the valley that's safe for cyclists even in busy traffic hours? I did look at the Roscomare route paralleling Sepuvleda,but it's SUPER steep in some parts. (Great for training, not as much for commuting!)
Is Sepulveda the only real option here?
