Something with deep knobs made for mud riding. Not file tread. A lot of guys here run Hutchinson Bulldogs or Michelin Mudd2. I'm running tubular with Tufo Cubus tires.

Last year all the C's ran the $hit pit. Most of the B's and all the A's rode it, which is probably significantly faster if you can keep on your wheels. This year, we haven't had a huge amount of rain yet, so it might be less of a water trough and more of a standard mud pit.
