Basically, the law would require police officers to seize the vehicles of anyone driving without a valid license. It's being pushed as a road safety measure, but in reality, it's just a way to use traffic laws to find undocumented immigrants and to bring legal action against them.
Thanx for the link. But I find it funny, because at least in JeffCo, the fine for an expired plate is higher than the fine for not having a driver's license. A guy who couldn't get a DL paid $35+court costs, and I had to pay $50+court costs for an expired plate.

And to go with the rumor I heard, I also heard that it was an effort to be able to get rid of homeless people that didn't have IDs. But who knows, that's why I always like to lookup the law when I hear about it.
