They're both great devices. I've been using a Garmin Edge 705 for the last 12 months. For me, the slightly larger screen and better battery life, combined with finding a terrific deal made the 705 a no-brainer. The fact that it has maps and ANT+Sport power-meter compatibility were icing on the cake. Have to admit that I rarely use maps while on the bike, but I loved having them when I rode down the Pacific coast to Los Angeles. Can't imagine doing a long trip without GPS now!
Hmm I dont remember where i read that but your right i was on Garmins website and what you said is right??? But i clearly read thta somewhere. Hmm... o well, I'm happy.
