There's one kind of lane splitting I won't do and that's with an 18 wheel truck. I would rather stay behind one than take a chance because those wheels can easily crush you should the driver make a mistake.
I think the driver of the truck decided to change lanes and caused the accident. However, we'll never know and since the poor girl isn't alive to give her side of the story. In the end, she got the blame because of lane splitting. The driver will always say "she fell" in an accident like this.
