Yep, I'm very familiar with the 105 group from that era- not fancy but it works. Anything really odd or unusual about them, like weirdo cable routing, bizarre thread type/size used on an otherwise common component, or stuff that breaks/wears out faster than on another brand or model? I've seen the '89 Schwinn catalog and specs and it looks pretty normal to me, just haven't seen the bike yet and want to make sure I know what to look for.
